I remember sitting at a brewery with friends and someone saying "did you hear what happened in Texas? Yeah, there was a man that…. Hamburger… really can't believe…. It's a big deal… all over the news" and with my certain spectacular, almost superhero blend of ADD and OCD, what I heard was "Texas, bad, everyone, news" and from that, I decided it was time for a drink refill and the conversation changed.

The Birth of SocialTemp

Then I had an epiphany (not the Staind song, but just as good I thought). What if I could click on a map of a location and it tells me what the big events are or were over time like a weather map, that highlights real news headlines and mixes this with local postings on social media.

And SocialTemp was born. I could have searched or used AI to tell me what was happening in Texas, but why would I do that? I'd have to manually type things and wait. What is this, 2025?! I wanted a click and done scenario.

Flash Forward 2 Days... SPORTSvibe!

At a friend's house watching football. I've never been a big fan of any team except for hockey, which is strange because I'm from Mississippi. However, I enjoy watching football, baseball, and hockey (Go Bolts!). I also like betting on sports, which leads to a lot of lost money as I know nothing about what I am doing.

BOOM! SPORTSvibe was born. I wanted a quick and easy way to compare teams that focuses on what the FANS were saying, mixing this with news articles, and providing a quick analysis of a matchup. Maybe NOW I could have an edge over just pure guessing or always thinking my Tampa Bay Lightning were going to win because I have several of their jerseys in my closet.
