SocialTemp is operated by TrestTheory LLC ("SocialTemp," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information SocialTemp processes when you visit social-temp.com, create an account, use PulseMap, SPORTSvibe, Brand Intelligence, alerts, email features, or other SocialTemp services.
1. Information you provide to us
Depending on how you use SocialTemp, you may provide information such as your name, email address, account preferences, selected teams or locations, feedback, survey responses, referral information, Brand-access requests, and communication preferences.
If you opt in to SMS alerts, we process your phone number, consent status, consent timestamp, the version of the disclosure you accepted, and related consent-audit information. SMS consent is optional and can be revoked.
If you purchase a paid subscription, payment processing is handled by Stripe. SocialTemp stores billing identifiers and subscription status needed to grant access and manage your plan, such as Stripe customer and subscription IDs. SocialTemp does not intentionally store your full payment-card number.
2. Usage, device, and analytics information
SocialTemp uses first-party analytics to understand how the product is used. This can include a randomly generated visitor ID, session ID, pages viewed, in-page product interactions, authentication status, plan type, landing page, traffic source, UTM campaign, referring page, browser user-agent, and timestamps. When you are signed in, analytics events may be associated with your account email so we can understand signup, activation, retention, and subscription funnels.
SocialTemp uses browser local storage and session storage for functions such as persistent visitor identification, session attribution, onboarding state, selected settings, usage limits, and certain product preferences.
We also use Google Analytics on portions of the site. Google Analytics may process device/browser information, first-party identifiers, site activity, approximate location, and IP-address information as part of delivering its analytics service. Google states that Google Analytics 4 uses IP addresses at collection time and discards them before they are logged in Analytics data centers.
3. Publicly available source data analyzed by SocialTemp
SocialTemp analyzes publicly available online content to produce sentiment, mood, sports-fan, and brand intelligence. Depending on the source, public content may include post or article text, public usernames or handles, timestamps, permalinks, source/platform information, and other publicly visible metadata.
SocialTemp uses automated classification and analytical methods to derive sentiment and related signals from that public content. Public-source data is different from the account information you provide directly to SocialTemp.
4. How we use information
We use information to provide and secure accounts; deliver free and paid product features; process and reconcile subscriptions; provide customer support; send requested email or SMS communications; operate referrals and access requests; measure acquisition, engagement, retention, and product performance; detect abuse or automated traffic; improve SocialTemp; maintain audit and compliance records; and comply with legal obligations.
5. Service providers and disclosures
We may disclose information to service providers that help operate SocialTemp, including Base44 for application infrastructure, Stripe for billing and subscription management, Google Analytics for website measurement, and messaging/communications providers such as Twilio when SMS features are used. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users or SocialTemp, investigate fraud or security issues, enforce our Terms, or complete a merger, financing, acquisition, asset sale, or similar business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
SocialTemp does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.
6. Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies
SocialTemp and its analytics providers may use cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar browser technologies to keep the service functioning, remember settings, measure usage, and understand traffic sources. Clearing browser storage may reset some settings, anonymous identifiers, onboarding state, or free-tier usage counters.
7. Data retention and account deletion
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including operating the service, maintaining security and analytics, resolving disputes, and satisfying legal, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, and compliance requirements.
Registered users can use SocialTemp's account-deletion control to request deletion of their SocialTemp account. The deletion workflow first verifies cancellation of known active SocialTemp Stripe subscriptions, then removes the Base44 account and directly identifying account data maintained by SocialTemp, including analytics histories that SocialTemp has explicitly stitched to that account's visitor identity. Browser-side SocialTemp visitor/session identifiers are also cleared on successful deletion.
Certain records may be retained where reasonably necessary or legally required, including payment/accounting records maintained by payment processors and SMS consent or opt-out audit records. Aggregate or de-identified statistics that no longer identify you may also remain.
8. Your choices and privacy requests
You may update available account information through SocialTemp, manage paid subscriptions through the Stripe Customer Portal, unsubscribe from email where an unsubscribe method is provided, and revoke SMS consent through SocialTemp or by replying STOP to an applicable message.
Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about certain personal data. To make a privacy request, contact us at admin.socialtemp@social-temp.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
9. Security
We use administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information, including authenticated access controls, server-side authorization for sensitive account and billing actions, restricted access to subscription records, and Stripe-signed webhook verification. No online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. Children
SocialTemp is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to SocialTemp, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
11. Third-party sites and services
SocialTemp may link to or display information originating from third-party websites and services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as SocialTemp changes. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service when appropriate.
